It is not just a vinyl rectangle. It adheres and forms to the crystal and becomes one with my watch...at first the film was flat and the edges did not wrap aroung the edges but i listen to video again and when i held the edge down for a few seconds it conformed to the apple watch curved contour all the way around-amazingly seemless.  I keep going back to look at it because I can\'t believe that even at the rounded corners this product is amazing ..
