It appears that this adapter has only one USB connection...if so, what adapter do I need for USB mouse AND keyboard? Thank you for your inquiry. This Avocent USB dongle will control both the mouse and keyboard through the single USB connection, without the need for an adapter or Y. Many of the USB dongles on the market nowadays utilize a single USB connector to pass the keyboard and mouse information to the target computer, saving a USB slot on the connected server. 100% of 1 people found this helpful. Will this cable work with the KVM 0108AD form Dell? Thank you for your inquiry. We are not familiar with the Dell KVM 0108AD and could not find any additional information using that part number. However, unless Avocent is the manufacture of the Dell KVM, this dongle would not work, as it is an Avocent proprietary computer interface module. Please also note, this Computer Interface module has been discontinued and replaced by the AVRIQ-USB2: https://www.kvm-switches-online.com/avriq-usb2.html. 0% of 0 people found this helpful. We have using Avocent Autoview 2000 & module Avocent AVRIQ-USB on server end can we use same module AVRIQ-USB used for different KVM Product like ATEN 2-Console 16-Port Cat 5 KVM Switch with Daisy-Chain Port KH2516A Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately due to proprietary connectors and /or cable pin outs, the KVM dongles supplied for one KVM most likely will not work with another across vendor brands. 0% of 0 people found this helpful. Is the AVRIQ-USB UL-60950-1 rated? Thank you for your inquiry,
According to the vendor, the AVRIQ-USB was UL Certified to UL 60950-1 but the version is unknown.
Apologies for the long delay while we confirmed this with original product development team. The AVRIQ-USB, CMN 1005-003 was made obsolete in 2014, so information for it was a bit scarce.
