I want to use 1 keyboard and 1 mouse to control 8 workststions thru kvm. Is it possible with cs1308? I see only vga ports at the rear side. Which cable i need to achieve this?
Thank you for your inquiry,

You can indeed control 8 work stations / PCs through the CS1308. The rear of the KVM actually uses proprietary all-in-one DB-15 connectors (similar connector to VGA but different pin-out). You would use these all-in-one KVM cable with the KVM which break out from that 1 DB-15 connector into the VGA + PS2 or USB connectors on the other side.

Is there a way to extend the distance of console cable?
Thank you for your inquiry.

We verified with the manufacturer and they suggested a VGA-male to VGA-female & USB-A to USB-A cables, to extend the CS1308 console cable.
For extension over 15 feet we suggest a KVM extender like the CE700A. or CE100, if you don\'t need a local console.
