Does this model have ATEN's "Video DynaSync" technology, which will store each monitors EDID information and pass it to the connected computers, similar to the CS1942 model?
Thank you for your inquiry,

DisplayPort is a data cable instead of a video cable like DVI or HDMI - DisplayPort KVM Switches (including the CS1942 and CS782DP) do not include video EDID emulation (or for Aten: "Video DataSync"). It is typical to notice a slight delay in switching a DisplayPort based KVM.

If you are looking for a KVM with EDID emulation, I would recommend going with a HDMI based KVM (i.e. Aten CS1792 ) or a DVI based KVM (i.e. Aten CS1762A).

If you would like a recommendation based on your application, please feel free to contact your KVM Switches Online sales representative directly.

How do you switch between the PCs. I'm looking for a solution where I can at minimum use the Scroll Lock key on my keyboard to switch, since that button is very rarely used
Thank you for your inquiry,

the Aten CS782DP provides three convenient switching methods – hotkey switching (this is the method with Scroll Lock + key combinations), mouse via an On-Screen-Display menu, or by using a remote port selector (remote).

Does it go higher than 60hz on lower than 4k resolutions (3440x1440?) Thanks
Thank you for your inquiry,

It does - This Aten CS782DP should support any standard resolution & refresh rate EDID combination supported by the DisplayPort 1.2 standard that doesn\'t go over maximum bandwidth.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with!

How much current can the USB keyboard port supply. I'd like to use a mechanical keyboard that uses more than 100 mA
Thank you for your inquiry,

This Aten CS782DP would not support keyboards over 100 mA.

Depending on your keyboard, the USB hub ports in this Adder AV4PRO-DP may support your configuration.

Please feel free to reach out to your KVM Switches Online sales representative directly to discuss your project requirements.

Would this KVM switch support gsync (e.g. on a 2560x1440@165Hz monitor)?
Thank you for your inquiry,

While we have heard of success stories of Aten KVMs with Gsync, Aten doesn\'t explicitly support Gsync (it is specific to nVidia and not part of DisplayPort 1.2 specification).

The Aten CS782DP does however support the full DP 1.2 specification including 2560x1440 @ 165Hz resolution.

Hope that helps!
