ce produit permet il de diffuser n'importe quelle source DP sur n'importe quelle sortie HDMI?
Thank you for your inquiry,

If I understood your question correctly, yes, the SmartAVI D2H-4P-Quad allows you to connect to any DP input sources to switch between, which would then be outputted onto your monitor(s) over HDMI.

My monitors and computers are DisplayPort. Can I use a HDMI-to-DisplayPort adapter cable without losing functionality?
Thank you for your inquiry,

You can indeed use a HDMI-To-DisplayPort adapter like the C2G 54179 without loosing any native functionality in the D2H-4P-QUAD. That being said, HDMI does not carry some of the signals supported in the DisplayPort protocol like power transmission, data transmission, and daisy-chaining monitors.

Also please note, the D2H-4P-QUAD takes in DisplayPort Inputs, but the output is HDMI.

Depending on your application, here are a couple of other KVMs you may want to also consider:
1) SmartAVI HDN-4QuadS - 4 port Quad Monitor HDMI KVM Switch (HDMI to HDMI)
2)
SmartAVI DPN-4Quad-S - 4 port Quad Monitor DisplayPort KVM Switch (DisplayPort to DisplayPort)

Hi there, I have 4 Predator 34in curved monitors - Display port and HDMI - am I right in thinking that this switch will allow me to connect 4 computers to it.. and utilise all 4 monitors on 1 PC. ( so extended desktop) with 1 Keyboard and mouse ? thanks Matt
Thank you for your inquiry,

Apologies for the delay while we checked on G-Sync support with the manufacturer.

Unfortunately the D2H-4P-QUAD will not support 3440x1440 at 60 hz.

You may be interested in the UHDN-4P-QUAD instead - the UHDN series supports resolutions up to 3840×2160 at 60Hz.

"I have no reason to suspect why it would not support the the Nvidia G-sync or that particular monitor, but regarding resolution it is powerful enough to display it."

If you were looking at the D2H series because your computer is outputting DisplayPort only but you would like HDMI, you can simply use a DisplayPort to HDMI cable or adapter(s) like this C2G unit.

I have two pc's that are sharing 3 monitors. The pc's use DisplayPort out and the Monitors are DVI in. I need a KVM that will switch which pc is driving the 3 monitors. I'm having difficulty finding a setup for this. Can you please point me to the hardware that can switch in either DVI or DisplayPort (ideally DisplayPort).
Thank you for your inquiry,

You could use the Adder DDX10 KVM Switch Matrix, which features DVI user stations and DisplayPort source dongles, as a 2-Port Triple-monitor DVI to DisplayPort KVM:*The Adder DDX Matrix allows you to group multiple KVM dongles (transmitters) & User stations (receivers) to form multi-display \'Computers\' and \'Consoles\', which automatically opens up all the relevant displays when connecting to a source pc.

Alternatively, as far as a standard KVM triple-display DP KVM with adapters, we would actually recommend a DisplayPort to HDMI KVM switch, like this SmartAVI D2H-4P-Quad (note, this unit is for 4-monitors, but you can use it as a triple monitor by just plugging in 3 video cables for the output and per source), with HDMI to DVI adapters on the output side for your monitors. The reason we would recommend that path is that DisplayPort to DVI adapters are more prone to issues with KVMs, which we would face going with a DisplayPort or DVI based KVM switch.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with!
