We suspect that Windows 8 and KVMs will have the same trouble as Windows 7 and KVMs.  The main issue is the way in which Windows 7 uses the EDID/DDC (Extended display identification data/Display Data Channel) information.  It continuously polls for the data, so you need to find a switch the continuously provides the monitor data to the target machines.  Unfortunitly, the older, cheaper KVMs just won\'t have that funcitonality.<br /><br />This Adder unit, <a href=\'https://www.kvm-switches-online.com/avx1008.html\'>https://www.kvm-switches-online.com/avx1008.html</a>, provides DDC emulation that should work with Windows 7 and would likely work with Windows 8.
