Will this KVM switch support or work with a DVI to Display Port (DP) adapter between the switch and PC?
Thank you for your inquiry,

Absolutely, please see our Video Adapters & Converters page for DVI to DisplayPort adapters.

Some users have reported issues with adapting HDMI to DP, but that is the only conversion issue with DP that I am aware of.

I have two monitors connected one of which is a display monitor and the other a TV Display Monitor mounted on the wall. When we use one classified unit this projects onto both displays at the same time, when we try to use the other it only shows up on the main TV. Can you advise please?
Thank you for your inquiry,

We are sorry to hear of the issue you are experiencing. This could be caused by a variety of issues including faulty cables, the screen settings in the OS -the source could be set to display on one screen only instead of in "Extended Mode"-, a compatibility issue with the TV display and a HDCP source, etc.

Belkin has a KVM support line available at 1-800-282-2355 where they can help you walk through and troubleshoot your application.

Will this KVM switch support splitting the DVI outputs to extend the diplays beyond 2 monitors?
Thank you for your inquiry,

Absolutely, any KVM switch based on DVI or HDMI digital video standards should have no issues with compatibility when using a video splitter on the video output. The only thing I would mention about using DVI splitters or adapters, is to make sure you get a unit that has compatible DVI connectors (DVI-D vs. DVI-I & Single-link vs. Dual-link), and to get a model that supports Dual-link DVI if you need it. Analog VGA based KVMs would likely need an \'active\' powered splitter, and DisplayPort KVMs would require to make sure the adapter supports required features.
