will it work without power supply?
It is possible it may work without a power supply. However, if it does work, it will not supply power to devices that have that requirement. This will greatly limit the usefulness of this hub.

Is it possible to purchase the USB Device Cable or power supply
Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, the specific power supply for this unit is unavailable. We were however able to locate information on the power requirements. Specifications for the power supply as listed by Belkin are as follows: The F5U224 requires a 6 VDC, 2.5 amp, center pin positive power supply. The Size of the connector is 5.5 mm (Outer) and 2.1 (center).

For the cable, this hub will will use a standard USB-A to USB-B cable, like the cables used for many USB printers - similar to: https://www.kvm-switches-online.com/f3u133-06.html.
