Can you turn on the remote tv without the home tv being on ? If the remote tv is on is the home tv automatically on ? If the home tv is hd can I send and operate a remote non hd tv ?
Yes, the remote TV can be turned on separately. This device is an HDMI transmitter and receiver, so it will only transmit the HDMI source (blu-ray player, cable box, etc...) The "home" TV will only be a video signal coming out of the box as if it was connected directly to the source. The 2 screens are independent of each other.

can you have 2 recievers, and one transmitter?
Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately no, this is a one to one solution in which you cannot add an additional receiver.

If you have 2 receivers and 2 transmitters is there any chance of interference ?
Thank you for your inquiry. There may be some chance for interference between units, but the quick start guide states the following:
\'If you have more than one pair, each transmitter and receiver should be at least 6.5 feet away from one another.\' We would assume that the 6.5 feet will limit the interference.

Will this work with the surface rt
Thank you for your inquiry. This product is operating system independent, so if a particular device has an HDMI out, the kit should work.
