Is this TAA compliant?
Thank you for your inquiry,

According to Adder, "the iPeps+ units have a Country of Origin UK so they should be TAA compliant".

Please let us know if there is anything else we can ever help you with!

Will TigerVNC work as the client? My company only has TigerVNC installed.
Thank you for your inquiry.

IPEPS-PLUS was designed with RealVNC.

TigerVNC is not supported.
It may work but is not guaranteed.

VGA to HDMI cable not working. It says "unrecognized video format". I am positive the host is output video b/c i can switch it to another monitor. Is VGA-to-HDMI cable supported? You sell a cable like this as an accessory.
Thank you for your inquiry. The IPEPS+ supports a digital video signal from an HDMI source. Converting HDMI to DVI-D is pretty straight forward, as both signals are digital. However, an active converter is needed to go from an analog VGA signal to a digital HDMI signal.

Converting from analog to digital display signals or visa-versa is never ideal, and may or may not be supported by a particular device. For the best user experience, we recommend staying either analog or digital whenever possible. If the source is analog, we would recommend trying the original iPeps: https://www.kvm-switches-online.com/adder-ipeps.html

There is some information in the manual about converting video signals, but nothing referencing converting an analog VGA signal to digital HDMI. You can find the manual here (https://www.42u.com/pdf/MAN-IPEPS-PLUS-ADDER_V1-1.pdf) and information on Converting HDMI to DisplayPort or DVI-D can be fond starting on page 7.

(Please also note, that DVI-I can support either a digital [DVI-D] signal or an analog [DVI-A] signal. It is not possible to take an analog video signal and convert it to digital with a simple DVI-I cable.)

I was looking to use this product to setup access to a mini desktop stored a few hours from where I live. The software I am accessing on the mini desktop blocks programs like teamviewer, anydesk, connective control etc. It is my understanding the IPEPS-PLUS is completely "masked" or covers you are accessing the computer remotely and is undetectable. Is this accurate?
The iPEPS+ will give you remote access to the host, just like Teamviewer would, without the need to install anything on the host itself. The host just sees a keyboard, a mouse and a video connection. Since there is no software to install, it should not block any other software form running.

There are a couple of items to be aware of:
- It is not a perfectly real time connection. The fastest refresh it can deliver is 30fps
- The iPEPS+ does not support audio
- May require changes to firewall configuration and/or static IP (public IP if the device "sits" on the internet)
