Remote access to PCs or a KVM (connected to several PCs) over LAN / WLAN / Web Browser / VNC / Java client can be made using a KVM Over IP Gateway such as the Adder Ipeps. IP Gateways generally use local connections for connected devices though. This is the best option for devices used on a regular basis for security and reliability.

That being said, IP gateways are not a 1-1 replacement but will perform the same function. So called \'wireless\' KVM extenders have been largely discontinued by most manufacturers due to the lag and low image quality that customers typically experienced.
