Unfortunately, detailed technical support is beyond the scope of this simple FAQ.  That being said, here is some information.  It is entirely possible that a recent java update is not compatible with the viewer. Although Avocent is typically pretty good at releasing firmware updates, the last firmware update for the SVIP1020 is dated 7-29-2008 (<a href=\'http://www.avocent.com/Support_Firmware/SwitchView_Digital/SwitchView_IP_1020_Remote_Access_Device.aspx\'>http://www.avocent.com/Support_Firmware/SwitchView_Digital/SwitchView_IP_1020_Remote_Access_Device.aspx</a>). <br /><br />We have not seen this particular error before, but it may be possible to add the SVIP1020 to an Exception Site list. Instructions for configuring the exception list can be found here:  <a href=\'http://www.java.com/en/download/faq/exception_sitelist.xml\'>http://www.java.com/en/download/faq/exception_sitelist.xml</a>. <br /><br />If you are unable to get the viewer working, we would recommend contacting Avocent directly.
