Would I be able to connect one Midi piano keyboard to 2 computers at the same time without protocol problems?

Assuming your MIDI keyboard uses USB, this would be possible using a KM switch that includes switchable USB peripheral hub port(s). The 2 Port Avocent SVKM120 does not include this feature, but the 4 Port version does: Avocent SVKM140. Alternatively, you could also go with the Adder CCS-PRO4.

Please note, a \'Secure\' KM switch would remove the transparent USB functionality from the USB peripheral ports that makes it possible to use a USB MIDI keyboard.

Does this work with ios? ios has had keyboard/mouse support since ios 13.4, uses basic mouse drivers so any mouse will work plug and play, so I would think the emulation provided by this switch would also be compatible with ios, please confirm

Can I connect an old mac-mini (2011) with a new one (M1) with magic trackpad and regular Apple keyboard?

As this device is software agnostic you should be able to utilize this device to your needs; however, a USB A to USB B cable for the trackpad and keyboard are required. Additionally, Bluetooth devices such as keyboards and mice are not compatible with the Cybex SVKM120.
