How can we disable setting the key-repeat rate for the keyboard, and perform other functions via on-screen menus or by entering simple commands of two to six keystrokes from the shared keyboard? We need to ensure no user can utilize any hot key functionality.
Thank you for your inquiry. A list of Hot Key functions can be found in the manual starting on page 22. ( http://ftp.blackbox.com/anonymous/manuals/S/SW722A-R2-SW722AE-R2_APR03.pdf ).

Unfortunately, it doesn\'t appear hot key switching can be disabled on this particular unit. For that type of functionality, you may be interested in a secure KVM. A listing of secure 2-port KVMs can be found here: https://www.kvm-switches-online.com/secure-2-port.html. The full line of Avocent secure KVMs can be viewed here: https://www.kvm-switches-online.com/avocent-switchview-sc.html.
