I'm looking at a couple Quad Monitor KVMs on your site. Namely the UHDN-4P-QUADS and the DPN-4Quad-S models, and had a couple questions. The intent of the device is to share a set of diagnostic medical monitors (resolution of 2048x2560). I see the only difference between the two is the inputs (Displayport vs HDMI) and refresh rate (60Hz vs 30Hz). If I required a 60Hz refresh rate, I would have to go to the UHDN-4P-QUADS model with a couple adapters? What adapters would that be, and what functionality would I be loosing using the adapters? Would the adapters support the resolution, I'm looking for?
Thank you for your inquiry,

That is correct, only this UHDN-4P-QUAD would support 2048x2560 resolution at 60Hz.

For DisplayPort sources, you could use for example this TrippLite DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 adapter which supports full 2048 x 2560 @ 60Hz. There shouldn\'t be any lost functionality such as loosing EDID or DPCP in using this adapter, but please note, support of the resolution and functionality would depend on which adapter you would use. We cannot guarantee functionality of a third party adapter with a SmartAVI KVM.

If connected with NVidia GSync or AMD FreeSync, will this allow the these technologies to continue functioning (i.e. for gaming, etc...)?
Thank you for your inquiry,

According to the vendor, they have not tested it, but the HDMI 2.0 port should support it.
