Since it is fully transparent, this item should not require any drivers to operate.  We are not sure why it would drop the connection after a while. As this is a bus powered unit, it might be some kind of power issue.  the receiver can supply up to 500mA to the connected devices.  You might try attaching a powered USB hub at the receiver end to see if that helps. <br /><br />Unfortunately, detailed product support is beyond the scope of this simple FAQ.
